Consistent with the FERPA, HAHD will not release personal student information, other than public directory information, to other parties unless we receive explicit written authorization to do so. HAHD students can read more about directory information in the school’s student handbook. Examples of directory information include first and last name and if a student is in attendance. Enrolled students can restrict release of their directory information by contacting the Office of the Registrar.


Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Enrollment Application


In order to apply to the Academy using this website, a user must give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to evaluate your qualifications for the program, financial aid and availability.  We may contact you about the program, and/or your enrollment status after submission.

We share information about our students with the federal and state government, private lenders and other agencies to process financial aid requests. We also share information about our students as required for state and federal reporting, to process student records with the North Dakota State Board of Cosmetology, with the National Accrediting Commission for Career Arts and Sciences and/or other agencies as may be required or permitted by legal, regulatory, insurance, audit or security requirements applicable to the Headquarters Academy of Hair Design. 

We partner with authorized third parties to provide specific academic, business, career or financial services. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
